What are the terms and conditions? And what are my payment options?
At Rent-A-Center, you have the freedom and flexibility to choose the payment terms that work best for your budget. With Worry-Free Pricing, you have the choice to pay weekly (for the lowest possible payment), every two weeks or monthly.

If you choose to pay for your item in full within 90 days, 100% of the rent that you have paid will be subtracted from the cash price. If you need more than 90 days but wish to pay off your item before the end of your term, our Worry-Free Early Purchase Option allows you to pay it off when you’re ready and still save significantly on your remaining total cost. What is needed for approval?
Getting started with Rent-A-Center is quick and easy, and approval usually happens the same day you come in. On your first visit, be sure to bring information that we can verify about your residence, source of income and two personal references. We'll arrange delivery — on the same day, in most cases — and you'll be enjoying your new items in no time at all.
What if I can't find the information I'm looking for, or what if I want to speak to someone directly?

What is a Wish List?
Wish List is an easy way for you to keep track of your items of interest. To use Wish List, you’ll need to create an account on our website. Once you are logged in, you can add or delete items and manage your list anytime. (To add an item, simply click “Add to Wish List” on the product’s detail page.)
How does your website work? Can I complete an application online and have product delivered to me?
Yes! Once you find the item you want, you can Submit An Application to the store nearest you. Once the store receives that information, they will contact you at your convenience within 2 business days. To complete your transaction, you can choose either to visit the store in person or arrange the details over the phone (in which case, we will obtain your signature and verification of specific documents upon delivery).
How is my privacy protected?
Your privacy is important to us. The guidelines we use for protecting the information you provide us during a visit to our website are listed in our Privacy Policy.
AFTER DELIVERY
How do I make payments? Can I make payments online?

Yes! You can make payments online using ePay, over the phone, or in person at your Rent-A-Center store. To use ePay, you'll need to (1) create an online account with us, using the same email address that you gave to the store, then (2) go into your account and set up your rental agreement for online payments. Set up ePay now.


What if I want to upgrade?
If you ever feel like upgrading your item to “the next big thing” or something with more/newer features, you can! You never have to worry about being stuck with a product you don’t want. Contact your Rent-A-Center store.
What if I want to pay off an item early?
No problem! At any point in your rental agreement, you can take advantage of our Worry-Free Early Purchase Option, which allows you to pay off your item when you’re ready and still save significantly on your remaining total cost. Contact your Rent-A-Center store for your individual savings.
What if I have to make a late payment?
Need a little help? No worries. Unforeseen things happen, and Rent-A-Center understands. If you ever need to make a late payment, simply contact the manager of your Rent-A-Center store as soon as possible — we’ll be happy to work with you!
What if I need to return an item or I can no longer make my payments?
If you need to return an item for any reason, it's no problem! You can return your product, and simply freeze your payments. You have the freedom to come back at any time, re-rent the same or comparable item, and pick up your payments right where you left off. Every payment you make at Rent-A-Center is fully protected, just the way it should be.
What if my item breaks?
If an item breaks because of any kind of manufacturing defect, we'll repair it quickly and at no additional cost. If offsite repairs are needed, we'll even give you a loaner while you wait.

Worry-Free Guarantee Terms and Conditions:
Delivery and set-up are included and RAC services and maintains the merchandise while on rent or in NJ for duration stated on agreement; set-up does not include connection of gas appliances. For model upgrades, simply return the product you are currently renting and open a new agreement for another model. To restart an agreement on a returned product, Rent-A-Center will retain your payment records for two years. Thereafter, simply bring in your last payment receipt for reinstatement.
